In a critical interview with Dinamalar, Advocate Priyadharshni Rahul strongly criticises the recent protest organised by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in New Delhi, taking a firm stance against the lawlessness and chaos caused during the demonstration.
She unequivocally condemns the violence and physical attacks directed at law enforcement personnel, emphasizing that targeting police officers who are executing their duty to maintain public safety is entirely unacceptable and illegal. Advocate Priyadharshni Rahul notes that while peaceful assembly is a democratic right, the aggressive escalation, stone-pelting, and destruction of public property by CJP demonstrators cross all legal boundaries and severely undermine the credibility of their agitation.
She further asserts that political groups must be held strictly accountable for the actions of their cadres. Calling for stringent legal action against those responsible for assaulting police personnel and instigating violence in the capital, she stresses that no political movement should be allowed to endanger public order or compromise the rule of law.
